Gibson House Museum

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Gibson House Museum located in Toronto. Thanks to my son's school for letting me come to this field trip with them.

Tour of the Gibson House Museum

It was fun to explore and learn about how the Gibson's lived hundreds of years ago. It was definitely tough not having any technology.

 View of the dining room.

Fact, Gibson's had 4 son's and they all stayed in this room. That gray bucket under the bed was used for toilet purposes.

This is a waterless sink in the lovely kitchen. It's waterless because back in the days , they had to dig holes on the ground in order to get water.

View of the girls room. Gibson's had 4 daughters and they all shared the same room.

For entrance fees and booking please check the website.

Just a tip, if you are visiting The Gibson House Museum, there's plenty of parking available on the street. Instead of buying parking for the whole day, 2 hours is enough since this place isn't too big.

Love,

Mehroz
