Europe Trip 2019 Paris (part 1)

Image
DAY 1 We had a late night flight to Paris, connecting at Iceland. We slept through most of the flight and arrived at Paris in the afternoon next day. It was quiet easy to find the train from terminal 2, which is a short tram ride away from terminal 1 at CDG airport. It took us about 45 min direct train to Les Halles, Chatalet. Our flat which we booked through AirBnB was across the street from the station. Check in was easy, our host met us outside and explained everything also helped us to get our luggage upstairs.  We literally left our luggage changed and went to explore the area. We walked to notre dame area and towards Louvre. Everything was about 10 min walking distance from our flat. We took our time exploring the bridges and watched as the boats pass by on Seine river. DAY 2 Being a huge Disney fan, we had to go to Disneyland Paris. We were so happy to go to the 3rd Disney Park and take that off our bucket list. Parks were a lot less crowded...

Planning My First Europe Trip on Budget

Image
I'm so excited to go to Europe for the first time. It has been a dream of mine for as long as I remember. So here's how I started planning my trip. 1. Book in advance Even though I'm going to Europe in June 2019, I booked my flight in September 2018. That's almost 9 months early. Also, I only bought a one way flight at the time because I wasn't sure how long I wanted to be there. Because when you book that early plans always change. I purchased my flights through Expedia, Travelocity and Kayak. 2. Accomodation After booking my one way flight to Paris, France i started looking for a place to stay which was close to metro and easier to get to and from the airport without having to change trains too many time. Also, metro in walking distance from where I'll stay because carrying around luggage after a 8+ hour fight is not fun. Paris : If you are on a tight budget like me, places like Expedia, Travelocity etc are not always going to b...

Niagara Falls Road Trip

Image
My extended family from Florida came down to visit Toronto so my dad and I decided to take them to Niagara Falls.  If cold doesn't bother you then winter is definitely the right time to visit Niagara Falls. There's barely any crowd. You can run inside the giftshop/restaurant to keep yourself warm. Here's a quick video of our trip.  I personally would recommend going in summer since theres a lot more to see and more activities open like boat rides that take you close to the falls , more helicopter rides, zip lining and botanical garden.  But if you are just stoping by while crossing the border to USA or Canada, winter is best for just taking some pictures before heading towards your final destinations.

New Year, New Shoes!!! (Unboxing Videos)

Image
Happy New Year everyone! Started the new year with a couple of pairs of shoes I got for myself from the Christmas holiday sale at Saks Fifth Avenue.  I recieved the Aquazzura shoes first even though I ordered it last. I love these a lot. They are quiet comfortable and easy to wear it with dresses, pants, skirts and shorts.  I also ordered a pair of Manolo Blahnik. These are timeless classic pumps. Super comfortable. And in this bright blue it just looks perfect. I have a feeling in the summer this will be my go to shoes to wear it with everything.  So happy to find both of these shoes on sale. Can't wait to do some outfit posts in them. Love, Mehroz
